CASA YOUM, “The Day House”
A project inspired by our travels around the world, drawing from our origins and cultures while embracing this land already rich in history.
Casa YOUM is a guest house and table d’hôtes, an exceptional living space nestled on a hillside in L’Estaque, at the gateway to the Côte Bleue calanques. It offers breathtaking views over the Bay of Marseille.
A truly unique place, where the renowned painter Paul Cézanne found inspiration. Local history tells that he lived here for six months during his stay in L’Estaque, giving rise to the address “Plateau du Peintre” (Painter’s Plateau). The striking light, the abundant vegetation, and the endless blue Mediterranean stretching across the horizon are said to have captivated him—and they have certainly captivated us as well.
Built in 1870, the house stands on a two-hectare hillside estate. A path leads to a magnificent Genoese watchtower perched at the top of the hill, offering an even more spectacular vantage point from which to admire some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
With its expansive garden and swimming pool overlooking the city of Marseille, Casa YOUM is the perfect place to rest, find inspiration, dream, enjoy a leisurely lunch, unwind, share special moments, and connect with others.
Recently renovated, we have sought to preserve the charm of this Provençal home while blending traditional and contemporary influences inspired by our ancestral roots.
Between Tunisia and Southern Italy, Casa YOUM is a harmonious fusion of our cultures.
Our ambition was to create a refined and carefully curated universe, where every detail has been thoughtfully designed to provide the highest level of comfort and an experience that meets the expectations of even the most discerning guests.
Life is a journey filled with discoveries, encounters, and ever-expanding horizons. For our guests, a stay at Casa YOUM becomes a new chapter in their travel story, and we are committed to making it truly unforgettable.
